Our Home Recording Studio is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. You can park your car right in our driveway. We built a sound proof room on the first level of the house, which allows for total sound isolation, and a relaxed and fun environment. After your recording session you might even see a Siamese cat or 2.
We are not equipped to handle full bands, but we can handle up to 2 people playing or singing at the same time. We have a KORG Digital Recording Station and can add as many instruments or vocals as you want, up to 16 tracks.
**Mastering
Mastering is the art of bringing out the most in a recording. This involves manipulation of EQ levels, pan, special effects, and any audio cleanup that may be required. Mixing involves balancing the levels so that every aspect of the recording can be heard clearly. If you want special mixing attention for a given song we can discuss those arrangements in person.
The minimum fee for 1 song is $50. For example, a 3 minute song with 1 instrument and 1 vocal will take roughly ½ hour to record ($25), and roughly 1/2 hour to master ($25). Add approximately 10 minutes to mastering time per additional track for a 3 minute song.
